This was the best turn out for the Veterans Day Party.

We had many veterans there even a World War 2 Vet.

There was lots to eat at the potluck, many items were

auctioned off and all proceeds went to the Wounded Warriors.

Once again cudos to Walt Jarhead Jones for being such a

The Baja Lunch Bunch met at Santa Ysabel Casino on Tuesday, August 31st. There was a lot of sharing of summer activities and of course "Baja Talk". Some stayed and tried their luck on the slots. Kids Halloween Party - October 30, 2009

There will be a Halloween Party for the Poblado Delicias kids, Friday, October 30, 2009, at the South Campo Community Center. Flyers are forthcoming. All donations of candy (regular or sugarless), or toys would greatly be appreciated. Boxed drinks (all flavors) & Halloween cookies (slaved over a hot stove home baked or your favorite grocery store special) are welcome. Last year due to everyone's generosity, the kids had plenty of candy, cookies, & drinks & many, many thanks from the Community Center Crew who had the fun of watching faces glow & smiles grow bigger when they received their Trick or Treat bag or a prize for coming in first in a game or having best costume. It is sooooo much fun seeing the kids in their costumes. So thank you for everything. And everyone is cordially invited to come & join in - whether to lend a hand or just to enjoy seeing all the costumes.... Come on down.....

Meet us at the South Campo Community Center on Saturday, October 31st, 2009, from 7:00 pm until 11:00 pm. Grab your costumes, bring your goodies (snacks, chips & dips, etc.) your favorite brew (drink of want) & come join us for a night of wicked fun (of which there is a $2.00 tax) & dancing (if so desired) to your favorite cd's (you're welcome to bring your own cd's with your favorite music to share.) End of the Season

Well, it looks as if we are coming to the end of our season. A lot of the people have already left or will be leaving soon. We have certainly ended the season with a BANG however with our SCEG Chili Cook-Off team winning the Peoples Choice award. Go Jim, Rob and Georgia!! The Saint Patrick's Day dinner and the Poker Run were also very successful and were handled with aplomb by all involved.
Hope to see everyone who is left at the last potluck on May 20!! Have a great summer and see everyone in the fall.
