POTLUCK AND BINGO this WEDNESDAY

All Are Welcome to the Monthly Potluck and Bingo at the Community Center at 5 PM this Wednesday, Feb. 17th. Bring a dish to share and enjoy all the variety from the South Campos good cooks. BYOB
Bingo is scheduled to start at 6 PM and there is a substancial blackout prize at the end. Lots of fun!!!!
There is a very short general meeting and announcements at 4:30.

Valentine's Dinner/Dance, February 13, 2010

Just a reminder about the Valentine's Dinner/Dance, Saturday, February 13th, 2010 at the Community Center in Poblado Delicias. Tickets are for sale now - $17.50 each. Remember, get your tickets early because they won't be sold at the door. We're having salad, Roast Loin of Pork with a glaze, steamed broccoli, mash potatoes, rolls, dessert - Death by Chocolate, & punch. Dust off those dancing shoes and get ready to rock & roll with the Vatos Locos Band. They rocked us last year & are returning to do it again!! Check with Judy Fraser, Jim Smith, or me about tickets. 3rd Annual Valentine's Dinner/Dance, February 13, 2010

SOUTH CAMPOS BIBLE STUDY

The South Campos Bible Study will tackle the 10 commandments. We will be using the book: Losing Moses on the Freeway by Chris Hedges. Oprah Winfrey says, "At a time when the mere mention of religion can excite so much passion...and discord, Losing Moses on the Freeway offers sane and bracing ways to think about, and rethink, the whole subject of faith." Plan to join us on Monday, Feb 1 at 10:30 at the Community Center.

Valentine's Dinner/Dance, February 13, 2010

Just an update - Plans are in the works for another Valentine's Dinner/Dance, Saturday, February 13, 2010, at the South Campos Community Center, Poblado Delicias. The fabulous band, Vatas Locos, who had the joint rocking last year, will be returning to rock the joint again! So mark your calendars. As soon as the plans are finalized - ticket prices, food, so forth - we'll have posters put up & put the info on the blog. If you would like to volunteer to help out with the event, please give Sharon Jones a call on Channel 69. It's gonna be fun......... :)Sha
